Why are appraisals of staff performance important to the organisation?

Introduction:

Students are expected to define ‘staff appraisals’ – written assessments of employees carried out, in a systematic way, at regular intervals – & explain the process involved, i.e. prepare, interview & follow-up.

Students should focus on the benefits of staff appraisals & ideally should list & comment about five (5) benefits.
